SOUTHWEST LIBRARY

  1. Southwest Library Mystery Book Club.
    The Mystery Book Club at SW Library is cancelled for the Summer. We will begin again in September, 1999.
  2. Child Care Group II. Every Thursday in July (July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29) from 1-5 there will be an orientation session for people interested in child-care careers.
  3. Young Adult Cross Stitch Club July 14 & 29, 1999
    If you are interested in beginning needlecraft, visit the SW Branch every 2nd and 4th Wednesday during the Summer from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. For ages 11-16. Please call to register at 202-727-1382.
  4. After Camp Movies July 1 - 31, 1999
    Come and enjoy movies every Thursday for children ages 6-12 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
  5. Pre School Films and Stories. July 1-31, 1999
    The SW Library has pre School films and stories every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 - 11:30 am for the very young child.
  6. Toddlers Time July 1-31, 1999
    Visit the Southwest Library for a Story Hour which will include finger-plays, films, flannel board stories, and picture book stories. Toddlers Time is schedules for 10:30 - 11:30 am every Monday.
