Here is some recent press:

River Park Nursery School, now in its 41st year of operation, is a program for children ages 3-5. This year, the school relocated from Southwest DC to Capitol Hill. River Park Nursery School provides individualized attention for students, which is made possible by the low teacher to student ratio of 1:5.

Families have the option of having their child attend 2-5 days per week. The school hours are from 9am-12:45pm, Monday-Friday, during the school year, which runs from September until May.

The school is a parent-run cooperative, with a director, who is also the lead teacher, and a teacher’s assistant. The facility is located in the St. John’s Building of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation.

History

The River Park Nursery School (RPNS) was first located in a large, beautiful, glass-walled facility in Southwest Washington, on 4th & “N” Streets, just two blocks from the Waterfront Metro near Maine Avenue, Arena Stage Theater, and Fort McNair.
